Mark Zuckerberg conferencing at Facebook’s F8 Summit about the new evolution into the facebook services.

He noted that original profile saying your five minutes of your life. But into the newer look they are going to covered everything that has ever happened in your Facebook lifespan. – it’s soething like a story book of your life. So New Profile telling you the whole facebook life into 15 minutes. He calls this feature Timeline.

Facebook said that Timeline feature would be on the way for everyone, somewhere in upcoming week.

If you can’t wait for the newer look than don’t worry, you can get that shiny look right now too as Facebook enabled Timeline early for Open Graph Developers.

I would like to take you notice before going through the steps towards enabling Facebook Timeline.

• Don’t try unless you’re actually a developer (I’m also not a great developer but I can try to do things).
• Only you will see your timeline at first (unless you decide otherwise), but it will automatically go public after a few days.
• It seems that if you login into Facebook on another machine, Timeline gets disabled automatically on all of your machines.
• There are many other things also as it still, but so far you can only expect above only.

Now moving towards our main topic I will show you steps.

Here’s Steps How To Do It:

• Log into Facebook.
• Go to developer mode to ENABLE it.

Don’t know what it is? Don’t Worry, I’ll tell you.

To do this, type “DEVELOPER” into the Facebook search box, click the first result (should be an app made by Facebook with a few hundred thousand users), and ADD the app.

• Go to the Developer Application.
• Create NEW Apps. Give display name and namespace you want to see on your screen( should look like below image).

• Read the guidelines and AGREE to the Platform Privacy Policy, you should be verified for this.

Ensure you’re in your new app’s main settings screen. You should see your app’s name near the top of the page.

• Look for the “Open Graph” header, and click the “Get Started using open graph” link.

Create a test action for your app, like “read” a “book”, or “watch” a “movie”. This should drop you into an action type configuration page. Change a few of the default settings  and click through all three pages of settings.

• Now, you need to show some patience to FACEBOOK by waiting for 2-3 mins.
• Go back to your Facebook homescreen. An invite to try Timeline should be waiting at the top of the page. (it will look like below image)

• And you’re done, Finally! Check out the below image how it should look like.

This will roll out in few days, but if you want earlier then you can try this.

Google has released a preview of what the real new Gmail will look like, including themes that you can test out today. Google gave users a sneak peek of its “Preview” and “Preview (Dense)” themes.

It looks like Google is running with the UI from Google+ and incorporating it into Gmail as well. Gmail adopted the Google+ minimalist, orange and gray aesthetic, though it’s not an identical aesthetic — the buttons for instance are larger.

The new Gmail has a cleaner, more refined look. The clean look is more spread out than the classic Gmail interface, basking in white space that makes it easier to read.

According to Google’s official Gmail Blog,

The idea was to “strip out unnecessary clutter and make Gmail as beautiful as it is powerful.” It’s all part of Google’s drive for a better experience that it calls “more focused, elastic and effortless” across each of its products.

The Preview theme, which spreads information out over more space and so must be the theme designed for larger screens, spreads things out a little too much. The eye doesn’t naturally scan over emails in the inbox because the whitespace between each message is a little too big for information that is provided in only one-line increments. The spacing works for Google+ because the items are generally a paragraph or more in length.

Google’s calling these two preview themes “a sort of sneak peek” because it plans to make this design a permanent part of Gmail’s new interface.

How To Get New Look of Gmail?

Want to have new interface updates in your Gmail and don’t know how to get that.  Don’t worry i will show you the simple and easiest steps to get new look in your Gmail.

1. First, sign in to Gmail and head to Mail settings.
2. Next, go to the “Themes” tab.
3. You’ll see a two new themes at bottom end of all themes, “Preview” and “Preview (dense).”
4. Select one, and your inbox will be instantly graced with a cleaner, more refined look.

That’s it. You can enjoy it now.

You can find lot many good things in new look, but there are some rough edges as well. Some lab futures may look like a stranger in new look. Google is planning to fix those issues and then roll out the new gmail look.

It’s unclear when the new Gmail interface will take over, but until then, you can start using it with this trick.

If you don’t like either of these themes, all the other themes are still there, or you can simply stick with what you have now. I think this is a big improvement, making Gmail easier to read and more efficient to use.

Angry Birds is the only reason which encourages me to write this post. Let me share something about Angry Birds.

I know, you’ve already played Angry Birds for free on your mobile, but some games are like favorite books and worth revisiting, right? And with games, you’re not really retreading. Whenever we see it we can’t stop ourselves to play it. Angry Birds is currently available on Apple’s iPhone and iPad and Android smartphone.

In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield. As players advance through the game, new birds appear, some with special abilities that can be activated by the player.

You have played game on mobile but have you play Angry Birds in the browser?  Well good news for Angry Birds Fans that Rovio’s addictive time-wasting exercise in pork pummeling is now available in the Chrome Web Store.You can now play Angry Birds on your computer through your web browser, if your browser, at least initially, is Google Chrome.

Naturally, playing Angry Birds on a conventional PC means no touchscreen. You won’t slide your finger across the display to slingshot the feathered revenge-seekers toward their porcine enemies. A mouse or touchpad works just as well, however.

This is only a beta release of the game, and so far we have 63 (=21 X 3) levels of the original game available, with an additional 7 special Chrome levels! They are working on bringing more levels to chrome.

Rovio’s Chief Marketing Officer told press that Chrome got the honors because of features including “hardware acceleration, HTML 5, in-app payments” and the Chrome web store, where users can access the free game. Rovio CMO Peter Vesterbacka said:

We’ve wanted to bring Angry Birds to the Web for a long time… The reason we’ve been so angry is we haven’t been able to do it until now. We think Chrome is great environment for Angry Birds.

Rovio announced last month that Angry Birds had reached more than 140 million downloads worldwide. The hugely popular game debuted as an Apple iPhone app in December 2009.

Don’t worry if you are not a Chrome user. Just go to ANGRY BIRDS WITHOUT CHROME and start playing the Web version. I tried it with Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox 4.0, and Angry Birds ran fine. This is beta code, however, and some commenters on Rovio’s blog have reported a few glitches so far, particularly with level 1-20.

Apart from this there is some side effect of Angry Birds Addictions. I have noticed a few side effects mentioned below:

If you are at work and playing Angry Birds, it possibly will reduce your productivity.

You makes yourself addicted with the stars (1,2,or 3). You’re giving stars to your work and if you didnt do it very well, you do it again and try and outdo yourself.

When you hear real birds outside and think they are the Angry Birds.

Your girlfriend won’t pay attention to you any more…not because of you playing, but she’s got her own game she’s working on!

I have some suggestion on that as well.

If you don’t want to listen words of your Angry Boss then do not play Angry Birds at work. And don’t tell your boss that there’s a web browser version of “Angry Birds”.

Play and Enjoy Angry Birds…But Do Not Get Addicted With It.

Though it was not in My Personal Christmas Wish List or not as i wish it on My Birthday, but now its part of my life to play angry birds. I would like to stay tuned with it for this year at least.

Let me remind you that the first royal wedding to be broadcast on TV was over 50 years ago and had more than 20 million viewers. This royal wedding is likely to be the biggest non-sporting event of the year, if not the biggest event of the year.

The most anticipated Royal Wedding of the century will showcase the advancement of today’s technology and social media frenzy. With the proliferation of devices for media consumption — think laptops, tablets and smartphones, in addition to TV sets — viewers are no longer consuming media on a single platform. Instead, they’re tweeting or updating status on their smartphones while viewing on a TV program, or a watching a second show on their tablets during a commercial.

The Royal Wedding is dominating social networking sites and is a trending topic on internet, a day and a half before the event is dying to take place. Let’s go little brief on these “C”

Commitment

No entrepreneur gets anywhere in business unless they are fully dedicated to what they are doing. An entrepreneur has to be 100% committed to his or her idea, vision, product or service, and business strategy to achieve his or her goals. Commitment is an entrepreneur’s characteristic that represent clarity of vision that drive to take another step closer to his/her dream to stay focused and to work tirelessly in the face of adversity.

Confidence

Confidence is an entrepreneur characteristic that enables them to strive under pressure and be a strong leader. Entrepreneurs have to believe in themselves and believe in what they’re doing. Feel confident while discussing your plan to other your friends, might the negative impact of the other ruin your ideas. I’m feeling proud because I have confidence in the business I believe in. When all others are laughing, hold your head up high and keep on your good work.

Creativity

Entrepreneurs are creative by nature and they have to. They have ability for seeing at the world from different angle than most people to developing innovative product/services which can improve someone’s’ system better and improve peoples’ lives. Courage

Courage is a characteristic of entrepreneurs that gives them the grit and confidence that success is possible if they never stop working towards their goals. An entrepreneur needs to have confidence to keep believing in what he/she doing. They also have courage to push on when money runs out and continuously rebuff.  Entrepreneur must have courage to take financial risks as they dreamed to create something from nothing with passion. No entrepreneur ever made it big being a coward.

Collaboration

Entrepreneurs are born leaders and they constantly looking at the big picture, but they also know that they can’t do everything themselves. Entrepreneur characteristic like leadership and collaboration enable them to beat their competition. Behind every great entrepreneur is a great hand of selected team designed to optimize goals.

If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, live by these words. Make them your creed – “Statement of Belief”.

If you’ve ever done your shopping or banking online, you may have noticed a small “lock” icon appear in your address bar, or that the address bar has turned green. This indicates that your browser is using a secure connection (“HTTPS”) to communicate with the website and ensure that the information you send remains private.

Facebook has finally added the ability to access the site via a HTTP Secure (HTTPS) connection, which should drastically increase security for users. HTTPS provides a combination of the HTTP and SSL protocols, enabling encrypted communication between your computer and a web server. Now you can see the green color in address bar of your browser like below:

You should consider enabling this option if you frequently use Facebook from public Internet access points found at coffee shops, airports, libraries or schools. Let’s see how.

HOW TO ENABLE SECURE CONNECTION (HTTPS) TO SECURE YOUR FACEBOOK  ACCOUNT

The secure connection is not enabled by default, but can be turned on manually by user. (They hoped to offer as a default in the future.)

The option will exist as part of our advanced security features, which you can find in the “Account Security” section of the Account Settings page. check the image below:

If you don’t see it yet, don’t worry; Facebook will be gradually rolling it out over the next couple of weeks.

The encrypted-connection option adds to recently unveiled Facebook security measures, including one-time passwords, remote log-out and “social authentication.”

There are a few things you should keep in mind before deciding to enable HTTPS.

1. Encrypted pages take longer to load, so you may notice that Facebook is slower using HTTPS.

2. Some Facebook features, including third-party applications, are not currently supported in HTTPS. (Facebook developers’ team working hard to resolve these remaining problems)

Facebook has also announced that it will add a layer of security with social authentication that involves friends’ image identification to access account in case of any suspicious activity. Apart from making your access secure, ensure that you know everyone whom you’ve added as a friend else your Facebook account will be in trouble.

Check your account if your account has been rolled out to enable this feature in your account.

Hope it will not slow down your Facebook experience and you continue your journey to FACEBOOK.

Although Facebook said you have to wait for an invite either through facebook.com or from one of your friends who have some invites to be sent to his/her friends.

1. Sign in to your Facebook account.

After this you will see the message that “You will receive an invitation soon“. It takes over a week day time to get the invitation. Check below image:
